its ok to speak proper english with a lah behind, but pronouncing the word sure, as 'swerr', or sugar, as 'sooger'?and to think people who speak that way are hired by big names to 'represent' our country (and they're paid big bucks mind you), and you wonder why singapore is still promoting 'learn how to speak mandarin'? maybe they should start with 'learn how to pronounce your goddamned alphabets for chirssakes'.
