When you love someone with all your heart
You have to let them know
But if you love too much for their own good
You'd best just let them go
If you hold someone in high regard
But you fear you make them wary
Don't preach to them about your love
You might come on too scary
Just be their friend if you have the strength
And don't dare ask them why
It's better to leave your love unsung
Than to make them watch you cry
